FRANKLIN FURNACE — it was a Knapp Attack.

Jon Knapp scored 33 points that included five 3-pointers as the Green Bobcats rolled past the Miller Falcons 69-55 in the Division 7 district tournament on Friday.

Green (12-11) will play Portsmouth Notre Dame at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Waverly High School in the district semifinals.

The Bobcats went up 16-11 in the first quarter as Knapp hit a 3-pointer and scored 7 points while Landon Kimber — who finished with 17 points — drilled a pair of 3-pointers.

Logan Doughty and Bryce Dorsey scored 4 points each for the Falcons.

Knapp knocked down three more triples from behind the arc as Green outscored Miller 13-5 in the second quarter and the lead grew to 29-17 at the half.

Doughty had 4 points and Dorsey got the other basket to account for Miller’ scoring.

It was more Knapp in the third quarter as he scored 9 points that included another trey. Brody Stapleton also hit a 3-pointer for Green in the quarter and the lead was now 45-30.

Bodey Dorsey nailed a pair of 3-pointers and Doughty scored 6 points for Miller.

The teams began to empty their benches in the fourth quarter and Miller outscored Green 25-24.

Knapp scored 8 points including 4 of 4 from the foul line and Kimbler hit his third 3-pointer as he scored 7 points.

The Bobcats were 9 of 11 from the line in the quarter.

Dorsey hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 12 points with Ethan Tucker adding 4 points for the Falcons.

Doughty scored 26 points to lead the Falcons (8-14). Bryce Dorsey added 10 points and Bodey Dorsey got 9 points.
