The Wayne National Forest issued a recreation alert on Tuesday afternoon about a bridge on Lakeshore Trail at Lake Vesuvius Recreation Area being out of service due to fallen trees.

The map shows the approximate location. The Ironton Ranger District is working to clear the debris and repair the bridge.

“In the meantime, please avoid the obstructed area” the WNF said in a Facebook post. “We will provide updates as they become available.”
