Did you feel the earth shake Monday afternoon?
Well, you probably did and it was the second reported earthquake in the past two months.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported there was a 2.9 magnitude earthquake at 4:04 p.m. with an epicenter at Oak Hill.
Reports of the effects of the earthquake were reported in Wayne, West Virginia to Portsmouth to Circleville.
According to Michigan Technological University, a 2.9 magnitude earthquake is often felt, but causes only minor damages. There about a half million similar-sized earthquakes occur around the world every year.
