PEDRO — Izaak Cox and Kelan Davidson did the job coming and going.

Cox and Davidson combined for 12 points in the first quarter and then for 16 points in the fourth quarter for the two biggest scoring quarters as the Rock Hill Redmen beat the Oak Hill Oaks 58-39 in a non-league game on Wednesday.

Cox and Davidson combined for 38 points as Cox scored a game-high 20 points and Davidson was right behind with 18 points to lead the Redmen offense.

The Redmen jumped out to a 15-6 lead as Cox scored 8 points, Davidson had 4 and Rylan Barker hit a 3-pointer.

The Rock Hill defense held Oak Hill to 3 field goals in the quarter.

Barker hit another 3-pointer and scored 6 points while  Mayson Black knocked down a 3-pointer and the lead was 28-17 at the half.

Will Morgan scored 5 points including a 3-pointer for the Oaks (10-7).

Davidson and Cox scored 4 points each in the third quarter as Rock Hill extended the lead to 40-26.

Four different players scored for the Oaks.

It was Cox and Davidson who took over again in the fourth quarter as each scored 8 points and the Redmen won going away.

Ethan O’Connor scored 5 for Oak Hill including a 3-pointer.

O’Connor scored 11 points to pace the Oaks.
