COAL GROVE — A man was arrested peacefully after he was found sleeping in the VA hospital parking lot in Huntington, West Virginia, after a nearly day long manhunt by police.
According to a Coal Grove Police Department report, they got a report of domestic violence in the 600 block of High Street around 9 p.m. The victim said that Bryce Snyder, 23, of Coal Grove had been arguing all day and he had left the house and he had left for a while but returned later and got violent, pushing his elbow into the back of her head and screaming at her while she was holding a three-year-old child. The victim also said he threw her to the ground and then picked her up and also pulled her hair. The victim also said Snyder had torn up the house, including pulling doors from their frames.

The victim told police that Snyder had a gun and had taken her cell phone.
After being interviewed by police, the victim was taken to a medical center to see if she had a concussion.
The police got a search warrant for the residence, but Snyder was not there and local law agencies were looking for him while Coal Grove police Sgt. Kevin McKenzie got an arrest warrant for fourth degree felony disruption of public services.
