Shelia Mae Booth, 75, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth.

Shelia was born on Feb. 16, 1949, in Huntington, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Russell Paul Booth and Nada Iris Chapman Booth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Katherine Martin; and one brother, Earl Booth.

Shelia is survived by one sister, Peggy Booth; one brother, Russell Paul (Rebecca) Booth, II; brother-in-law, Jim Martin; three nephews, David (Deena) Booth, Jason (Kristina) Murdock, and Russell Adkins; four nieces, Kayla (Will) Harmon, Courtney Gallant, Anna (Adam) Reams, and Veronica Grimmett; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be noon Thursday at Wallace Family Funeral Home, South Point, with Pastor Terry Wagner officiating.

Burial will follow at Leatherwood Cemetery.

Family and friends are welcome to visit from 11 a.m.–noon Thursday prior to the service at Wallace Family Funeral Home, a time shared for memories and support.
