Dolores Ann Bryant, 86, of Coal Grove, has gone on to be with her Heavenly Father on Jan. 16, 2025, at KDMC. (2 Corinthians 5:8) She was surrounded by her loving family and passed peacefully.
Dolores was born on April 7, 1938, to the late Oliver “Pete” White and Marjorie Saunders White.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred T Bryant Jr.; a son, Leo Boggs; stepson, Monte Bryant; brother, William White; sister, Helen Kelley; grandson, Jonlee Boggs; and great-grandson, Darrien Otta.
Dolores was a 1954 graduate of Ironton High School and a retired nurse of many years. She was an active member of Community Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Douglas (Tina) Lauter, of Mattoon, Illinois, Deondra (Tawni) Cotttril, of Kansas, Illinois, Leslie Boggs, of Coal Grove, Lisa Browning, of Coal Grove, and Leota Workman (John), of Catlettsburg, Kentucky; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Family Funeral Home, South Point, with her son, Brother Les Boggs, officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton.
Family and friends are welcome to visit 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wallace Family Funeral Home, a time shared for memories and support.
Pallbearers are as follows, Doug Lauter, Chris Lauter, Josh Cottrill, Steele Workman, Charles Workman and Trae McCleese. Honorary pallbearer is Hayden Boggs.
