PROCTORVILLE — The Village of Proctorville will be hosting their fourth annual Christmas parade on Dec. 19.
Mayor Bill Elliott said the event will take place on State Street at 7 p.m., with line up set for 6 p.m.
Elliott said the event always kicks off with the village’s police chasing the Grinch through the village. He said it has grown each year since its inception, drawing more participants, such as the Fairland High School band.
The mayor said the village also has its official Christmas tree, set up at Holzer-Lawrence County, located at 98 State St. He said the clinic has donated the space for the tree and that any children who want to decorate an ornament for the tree can bring them to the clinic to be hung.
