With a flurry of trick or treating coming up this week, the question is what temperature is going to be on Halloween? Because we all know it’s a bummer when your mom makes you put on a coat over your cool costume.
But it looks like cool and dry.
On Saturday when Coal Grove has trick or treating in Paul Porter Park from 5-7 p.m. and trunk or treat is happening at VFW Post 6878 in Proctorville from 6-7 p.m., the forecast is for tempuratures in the 60s and only an 11 percent chance of rain.
On Monday, when there is safe trick or treating in downtown Ironton at the Ironton Farmers Market from 5:30–7 p.m. and at the Lawrence County Courthouse, Trick or Treating 5:30–7 p.m., it is going to be in the mid-60s with virtually no chance of rain.
The Ironton Halloween parade will be at 7 p.m.
On Thursday will be citywide trick or treating in Ironton from 6–8 p.m. and trick or treating in Chesapeake from 6–7:30 p.m. The temperatures will be in the 70s but there is a 30 percent chance of rain in the evening.
