Today is the highly-anticipated Wildlife Rescue Yard Sale at Guardian Animal Medical Center, from 9 a.m.–1 p.m.!
Excitement is building as we prepare for an unforgettable day filled with fun, wildlife education and community spirit.
Whether you’re a wildlife enthusiast, a bargain hunter, or just looking for a great day out with the family, the Wildlife Rescue Yard Sale has something for everyone. Here’s what you can look forward to:
• One of the event’s major highlights is the appearance of several falconry birds. These majestic creatures will be on display, offering attendees the rare opportunity to see them up close and learn about the incredible art of falconry. Our team will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about the vital role birds of prey play in our ecosystem.
• For our younger visitors, we’ve got plenty of activities to keep them entertained! There will be face painting stations where kids can transform into their favorite animals, as well as a variety of fun games designed to educate and entertain. It’s a great way to engage children in wildlife awareness while they enjoy the day.
• Capture the magic of the day with our wildlife-themed photo op! Whether you want to pose with the birds or take fun, memorable shots with family and friends, this is a chance to make your experience even more memorable. Be sure to share your photos on social media and tag us to help spread the word about wildlife conservation!
• Commemorate your experience with a Wildlife Rescue Yard Sale t-shirt. These limited-edition shirts are not only a great keepsake but also a way to show your support for wildlife rehabilitation. All proceeds from t-shirt sales will go directly toward our wildlife rehab efforts.
• Shopping and activities work up an appetite! Luckily, we’ll have a food truck on-site serving delicious food and drinks throughout the event. Whether you’re grabbing lunch or just a quick snack, it’s another way to enjoy your day while supporting the cause.
We are thrilled to report that generous donations have already started coming in from the community! Thanks to our supporters, we’ve received an amazing variety of items that will be available for purchase at the yard sale. From gently used furniture and electronics to clothing and toys, there’s something for everyone. With more donations still arriving, it’s shaping up to be an incredible event.
If you still have items to donate, it’s not too late! We’re accepting donations right up until the event, so feel free to drop off any gently used items you no longer need at Guardian Animal Medical Center.
As a reminder, all proceeds from the Wildlife Rescue Yard Sale will go directly toward wildlife rehabilitation efforts. Your participation helps us continue providing medical care, shelter, and rehabilitation to injured and orphaned animals.
