Several people indicted for violent crimes

Several people are facing serious charges after being indicted by the latest Lawrence County Grand Jury for causing harm to others.
They include:
• Justin O. Jenkins, 36, of Ironton, is charged with third-degree felony abduction, first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence and second-degree misdemeanor resisting arrest.
• Charles Anthony Markel, 41, Coal Grove, third-degree felony retaliation, fourth-degree felony disrupting public services, fourth-degree felony assault and second-degree misdemeanor resisting arrest.
• Kimberly D. Richman, 43, Coal Grove, fourth-degree felony assault and third-degree felony obstructing official business.
• William R. Sexton, 41, four counts of second-degree felony felonious assault, two counts of third-degree felony tampering with evidence, two counts of third-degree felony having weapons under disability, fifth-degree felony breaking and entering, third-degree felony failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, third-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, fourth-degree felony receiving stolen property and first-degree misdemeanor possessing a defaced firearm.
• Brandon L. Potts, 36, Ironton, fourth-degree felony strangulation and first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence.
Other people indicted and their charges include:
• Buddy A. Jenkins, 43, Ironton, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.
• Randy Eugene Jackson, 47, Ironton, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and fourth-degree receiving stolen property.
• Amanda Marie Nichols, 43, Portsmouth, third-degree felony tampering with evidence.
• Keely Holtzapfel, 33, Ironton, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs and second-degree misdemeanor possessing drug abuse instruments.
• Taylor Layne Parmiter, 33, South Point, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.
• Brandon L. Walters, 31, Proctorville, fifth-degree felony breaking and entering and fourth-degree felony theft from a person in a protected class.
• James D. Haddock Jr., 49, Portsmouth, fifth-degree felony possession of cocaine and third-degree felony tampering with evidence.
• Wyatt Christopher Stormes, 24, Grayson, Kentucky, fifth-degree felony possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
• Toby D. Avery, 45, Ironton, three counts of fifth-degree felony aggravated possession on drugs and fifth-degree felony possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
• Betty J. Pierce, 43, Ironton, fifth-degree aggravated felony possession of drugs.
• Thomas K. Kolberg, 33, Lucasville, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, third-degree felony having weapons under disability and fourth-degree misdemeanor criminal trespassing.
• Christine E. Nava, 28, Lucasville, fifth-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs, third-degree felony having weapons under disability and fourth-degree misdemeanor criminal trespassing.
• John F. Hatfield, 54, Proctorville, fifth-degree felony breaking and entering and fourth-degree felony theft from a person in a protected class.
• Jamie A. Baker, 32, South Point, first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence.
• Christopher S. Newcomb, 38, Ironton, third-degree felony tampering with evidence and fifth-degree felony vandalism.
• Tarence J. Arrington, 27, Detroit, first-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs and first-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.
• Quesean N. Branner, 30, Detroit, first-degree felony aggravated trafficking in drugs and first-degree felony aggravated possession of drugs.
• Joseph Papineau, 45, Columbus, two counts of fifth-degree felony breaking and entering, two counts of fifth-degree felony vandalism and second-degree felony engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
