HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Football’s Sept. 21 contest at Ohio State will be a noon kickoff at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, and will be shown nationally on FOX, the Big Ten announced on Monday.

 The game-time was released as part of the 12-day window under the Big Ten’s contract with its TV partners.

 The Sept. 21 matchup will mark the third all-time meeting between the programs and the first time since 2010 that the teams have met.

 It will also be the 20-year anniversary of the first matchup between the teams – a 24-21 victory by Ohio State when Mike Nugent hit a 55-yard field goal as time expired to help the Buckeyes escape the Herd’s upset bid.

 Both teams will be coming into the Sept. 21 contest with plenty of rest after taking next weekend off in the early part of their 2024 schedules.

 Marshall is coming off a 31-14 loss at Virginia Tech on Saturday while Ohio State defeated Western Michigan by a score of 56-0 in a meeting of the Herd’s final two non-conference opponents this season.
