Mary Stuntebeck

Mary Louise Stewart Stuntebeck, 80, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

She was born Oct. 29, 1943 to the late Mark and Myrtle (Dillon) Stewart.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Stuntebeck, whom she married Jan. 4, 1973.

Mary was a 1961 graduate of South Point High School.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church where she served as choir director for many years.

Mary retired from the Ironton City Schools system as secretary at Kingsbury Elementary School.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Monica (Michael) Mahlmeister, Matthew Stuntebeck (fiancé Hollie Haney) and Mark (Jessica) Stuntebeck; grandchildren, Faith and Michael Mahlmeister, Blake Stuntebeck, Braylen Stuntebeck, Lola Miller and Scout Miller, all of Ironton.

Public visitation will be 10 a.m.–noon Saturday at St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral home, Ironton, is in charge of arrangements.
