Mary Lou Bentley

Mary Lou Bentley, of Ironton, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024.

Mary was born Sept. 24, 1928, in Ironton, a daughter of the late Bess and Newman H. Miller.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Bentley.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Lucille Mosser and Lee Ann O’Neill; and her, brother Paul Miller.

Mary was a graduate of Ironton High School.

She was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church and the First Methodist Church of Ironton.

Mary loved her family and truly enjoyed the many family gatherings creating wonderful memories for all.

She is survived by her three children, Jane (Jerry) Watson, of Ironton, Bob (Jenny) Bentley, of Naples, Florida, and Richard (Rochelle) Bentley, of Ironton; her grandchildren, Scott Watson, Shawn Watson, Aaron (Michelle) Watson, Jeff (Kayla) Bentley, Michael Bentley, Mariah (Matt) Nierman, and Matthew Sexton; six great grandchildren, Ainsley Watson, Conner Watson, Brayson Bentley, Kylee Bentley, Audrey Nierman, and Alex Nierman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Woodland Cemetery, Ironton.

Phillips Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
