Homemakers host annual Achievement Day

ROME TOWNSHIP — The Lawrence County Homemakers hosted their annual Achievement Day event at First Baptist Church in Rome Township on Tuesday.
The event brings together the county’s three homemaker clubs – Ensee, Southside and Ohio Valley.
According to Anne Dobbins, of the Homemakers, about 30 members attended the event and this year’s guest speaker was Ernie Hall of Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville. Catering was provided by Like Mother, Like Daughter.
Best in show for this year was Nancy Garner for her cross stitch.
