Two levies appeared on Tuesday’s primary ballot and both were approved by voters.
In the Village of South Point, voters were in favor of the renewal of a five-year operating levy, which passed, 448-234 votes.
The levy had failed in last fall’s general election and was back on the ballot.
Mayor Jeff Gaskin had urged voters to reconsider it, noting some village services, such as brush cutting, clean ups and street lights were covered by the levy, which was not a millage increase.
And in Windsor Township, voters easily passed a fire levy, 223-86.
