SOUTH POINT — Camille Hall and Saratina Jackson showed how to defuse a rocket.

Hall scored 21 points and Jackson got 16 more as the South Point Lady Pointers defused the Wellston Golden Lady Rockets 74-38 on Saturday.

Hall had 8 points and Saratina Jackson had 7 more as South Point took a 20-13 lead.

Kimmi Aubrey hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 8 points for Wellston.

Jackson had a trey as she scored 5 points and Samiya Bradburn also hit a 3-pointer as 6 different players scored to extend the Lady Pointers lead to 36-24 at the half.

Sammie Cottrell had 6 points and Madison Potts hit a trey for the Lady Rockets.

Hall got 8 more points in the third quarter while Keyera Black and Jackson had 4 points each and the lead grew to 57-36.

Aubrey hit another triple and scored 7 points and Potts made her second 3-pointer.

Bradburn scored 7 points and Leila Hall 6 as South Point outscored Wellston 17-2 in the fourth quarter.

Maggie Lambert had the lone Wellston basket in the quarter.

Bradburn scored 10 points for South Point. Aubrey scored 15 points for Wellston (5-9).
