LATHAM — It was time to get back at it.

After more than a week since their last game, the Green Lady Bobcats returned to the court and rolled past the Western Lady Indians 50-11 on Thursday.

“It was just great to get a game in after being off for eight days,” said Green coach Melissa Knapp.

Abbie Knapp scored a game-high 22 points and Mattie Hayslip hit 3 shots from behind the arc and scored 12 points to lead Green (5-4).

Knapp hit a pair of 3-pointers and scored 10 points while Hayslip drained 3 trifectas for 9 points and Izzy Conley also hit a 3-pointer as Green took a 24-4 first quarter lead.

Knapp had 9 points in the second quarter as the lead grew to 39-4 at the half.

Sydney Bainer had a 3-pointer and Natalie Butler and Conley had baskets to account for Green’s scoring in the third quarter as the lead went to 46-11.
