Some people go to great lengths to get things done, but South Point Lady Pointers’ middle school pole vaulter Bindi Staley went to great heights. Staley, and 8th grade student, broke the school pole vault record on Thursday during the South Point Middle School Invitational track meet as she cleared 7-feet, 6-inches to eclipse the previous record of 7-feet set by Kate Burgess in 2008. Staley is the granddaughter of Randy Smith, the legendary track coach and Green and formerly at South Point. (Photo Submitted)
