Miami University names local to dean’s list
OXFORD — Kalee Gannon was named to the dean’s list at Miami University for the 2019-20 spring semester.
Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within their division for second semester 2019-2020 have been named to the dean’s list recognizing academic performance.
Gannon, of Frankln Furnace, is majoring in psychology, social work.
Nationally recognized as one of the most outstanding undergraduate institutions, Miami University is a public university located in Oxford, Ohio.
With a student body of nearly 19,000, Miami effectively combines a wide range of strong academic programs with faculty who love to teach and the personal attention ordinarily found only at much smaller institutions.

Cedarville announces Spring Dean’s Honor List
CEDARVILLE — Cedarville University recently released the spring 2020 Dean’s Honor List. This recognition required students to maintain a 3.75 GPA for the semester while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Belmont University announces Spring dean’s list
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Madison Manns, of Chesapeake qualified for the Spring 2020 dean’s list at Belmont University.
Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Cumberlands confers degrees to Class of 2020
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — University of the Cumberlands has conferred degrees to the Class of 2020.
• Sarah Linn, of Ironton, who received their Master of Arts in teaching degree in P-12 special education LBD.
• Ellen Kuehne, of Ironton, who received their Associate of Science degree in human services.

Ironton man named to President’s List at Cumberlands
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — In recognition of academic performance, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at University of the Cumberlands has announced the students named to the President’s List for the spring 2020 semester.
• David Schug, of Ironton.
To be eligible for the President’s List, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 4.0, receive an “A” grade in UC Engage and be in good academic standing.
University of the Cumberlands is the largest and most affordable private university in Kentucky.
