Cindy Jenkins

Jan. 24, 1958–June 8, 2020

 

Cindy Kay Harmon Jenkins, 62, of Coal Grove, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky.

 

Cindy was born Jan. 24, 1958, in Ironton; a daughter to the late Curtis and Shirley (Derifield) Harmon. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Raymond Jenkins, whom she married June 29, 1979.

 

Cindy was a 1976 graduate of Coal Grove High School and attended Shawnee State College. She retired in 2011 as a nurse’s aide for Community Health. She attended Lorain Street Gospel Mission and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, gardening, playing the piano, singing and loved to make people laugh.

 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughter, Courtney (Isaiah) Jenkins, of Coal Grove; and sister, Teresa (Greg) Dickess, of Coal Grove

 

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Pastor Dave Schug officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation for friends and family will be Friday, 11 a.m. until time of the service.

Patricia Kay Riley, 66, of Coal Grove, died on Monday, June 8, 2020, at home.

 

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Ice Creek Cemetery, Ironton.

 

Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
