FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. — Motorists traveling through Boyd and Greenup counties in Kentucky can expect state highway work zones this week.
The Kentucky Department of Highways announced the following:

BOYD COUNTY
Eastbound U.S. 60 in Boyd County near Summitt, right lane closed, mile markers 8-9, slide repairs between Summit Plaza and Garden Roller Rink. Merging traffic, delays, weather permitting.
I-64 mile markers 181-191 in Boyd County, left lanes in both directions closed for cable barrier installation, weekdays 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Speed limit reduced, various work zones, expect delays.

GREENUP COUNTY
KY 1093 (Country Club Drive) at Bellefonte, paving between KY 5 and KY 1725, mile markers 0 to 2, daily lane closures and flagged traffic.
Slide repairs on KY 1459, starting today, with KY 1459 closed to all thru traffic between Messer Road and Carter Hollow (milepoints 2.36-2.55), day and night, for about a week. Work is expected to be complete May 6, depending upon weather. Detour using KY 1 and KY 2 through US 23 at Greenup.
