Monday

Fairland BOE Meeting

The Fairland Board of Education will have its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Due to the governor’s orders regarding public gatherings and social distancing, the public will not be able to attend this meeting in person. Go to www.fairland.k12.oh.us for details on how the public may access this meeting.

Fayette Township Trustees

The Fayette Township trustees will have their regular meeting at 5 p.m. at the Burlington Fire Station. Due to the coronavirus, the meeting will be outside with social distancing of six feet. Anyone with questions or concerns should call their trustee.

South Point BOE Meeting

The South Point Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. via videoconference. The meeting can be viewed by the public on the South Point Local School District Facebook page as well as the South Point School District website. There will be no public participation during the meeting.

AAA7 Meeting

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Board Meeting of Area Agency on Aging District 7 will not be held in person.  As the board meeting is open to anyone in the public who is interested, those who would like to participate can do so via GoToMeeting.  Please call the Area Agency on Aging District 7 at 1-800-582-7277 and ask to speak with Sherri McCollum to receive further instructions on how to participate.

AFCFC Meeting

The meeting of Appalachian Family and Children First Council will take place at 9 a.m. via teleconferencing. Organizers said details will be announced via email.

Friday

Mobile Food Pantry

A mobile food pantry will be available for residents of Lawrence and Jackson counties who meet low-income requirements on the parking lot of Oak Hill High School from 10 a.m-3 p.m. Photo ID and proof of residency is required. For information, contact the Southeast Ohio Foodbank at 740-385-6813 ext. 2207.

RHPC Meeting

The River Hills Prevention Coalition will meet via Zoom video conference.

April 21

Land Bank Meeting

The Lawrence County Land Reutilization Corporation will meet at noon at 327 Vernon St., Ironton.

April 23

Ironton City Council Meeting

The Ironton City Council will meet at 6 p.m.. The meeting is  not open to the public. It can be viewed on Facebook live.
