Spaghetti Dinner
Lawrence County Friends of DD will host a spaghetti dinner from 5–7:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus in Ironton. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Ironton City Council
Ironton City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers on the third floor of the Ironton City Center.
ESC Business Advisory Council Meeting
The Lawrence County ESC Business Advisory Council will meet at noon at the ESC office, 304 N. Second St., Ironton.

Model Flyers Show
The Tri-State Model Flyers club will display remote control (R/C) aircraft at the Ashland Town Center Mall in front of JCPenney. All forms of R/C models will be on display, including fuel powered, soaring, electric aircraft, helicopters and new quadcopters (drones). Pilots will be on hand to answer questions about the aircraft and how to get started in the sport.

Floodplain Appeals Board
The Lawrence County Floodplain Appeals board will conduct a public hearing from 10 a.m.–noon. This hearing will be conducted at the Joint Response Operations Center, 715 Lane Street, Coal Grove. The purpose of the hearing is to render a decision on a variance request.

Meet the Candidates
The Concerned Citizens of Burlington will host a Meet the Candidates event for the primary election at 6 p.m. at Burlington Elementary.
Planning Commission Meeting
The Lawrence County Regional Planning Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting 11 a.m. at the Giovanni’s in Chesapeake.

Dawson-Bryant BOE Meeting
Dawson-Bryant Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. at the Dawson-Bryant Board of Education offices.
Feb. 27
Ironton City Council
Ironton City Council will meet at 6 p.m. in council chambers on the third floor of the Ironton City Center. It is open to the public.
March 1
Harvest fundraiser
Harvest for the Hungry will be celebrating National Pig Day with a soup and grilled cheese fundraiser from noon-2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, located at 101 N. Fifth St. in Ironton. Suggested donation of $3.50.

Fairland BOE Meeting
The Fairland Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. at Fairland High School, 812 County Road 411, Proctorville.
April 1
PERI Meeting
PERI Chapter 62 will meet at 11 a.m. at the Ironton branch of the Briggs Lawrence County Public Library in the upstairs room. All PERI, OPERS retirees or current workers are invited to attend.
