Public Employee Retirement System hosts meeting

Public Employee Retirement System held their first meeting of the new year at the Briggs Lawrence County Public Library in Ironton on Feb. 5. Public Employee Retirement System held their first meeting of the new year at the Briggs Lawrence County Public Library in Ironton on Feb. 5.

They welcomed new vice president Carolyn Waddle and new treasurer Connie Robinson.

Special guest was Ironton’s chief of police, Pam Wagner, who members said gave an interesting speech that they all enjoyed.

The door prize was won by Carol Weineger.

The group’s next meeting will take place at 11 a.m. April. 1.
