Christmas with Dignity Sign-up
The Christmas with Dignity sign-up for food boxes will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, on the corner of Sixth and Center streets in Ironton. If you can’t make it, call Geneva Tordiff at 740-532-3665 to register. The give-away is Dec. 7 and recipients must be registered.
Luminary 5K Run
The Chamber of Commerce’s annual Luminary 5K Run, presented by Armstrong, will begin 6:30 p.m. It starts at the Chamber of Commerce office and goes through The Point Industrial Park. Registration is $20 before Thursday, $25 on race day and can be completed online at tristateracer.com. Trophies will be awarded to the top finishers.
COG Meeting
The Lawrence County Schools Insurance COG will have its monthly meeting at 9 a.m. at the ESC Office, located at 304 N. 2nd St, Ironton.
Planning Commission Meeting
The Lawrence County Regional Planning Commission will have its monthly meeting at 11 a.m. at the Giovanni’s in Chesapeake.
Lodge Meeting
Lawrence Lodge #198 F. & A.M. will have its monthly stated meeting with the annual election of officers. Refreshments at 6:30 p.m. Meeting at 7:30 p.m. Will Ridgeway, W.M.

Conservation District Meeting
The Lawrence Soil and Water Conservation District will have its regular monthly meeting at 10 a.m. at the Lawrence Soil and Water Conservation District Office in Linnville, 5459 State Route 217, Willow Wood. For more information, please contact the office at 740-867-4737.
A Night Without A Home
Shelter of Hope will host A Night Without a Home 8 p.m.–midnight on the parking lot of Ashland’s First Christian Church at 1930 Winchester Ave, Ashland, Kentucky. Guest speakers will share experiences homelessness. Music by Holly & The Guy. The Salvation Army will provide coffee and hot chocolate. Participants should dress warmly and bring a chair.
Housing seminars
Seminars on Ohio landlord-tenant laws and federal Fair Housing Act protections for renters and buyers will be held at the Briggs Lawrence Library in Ironton at 1 p.m. and at the South Point Branch at 3 p.m.

Special Needs Youth Sportsmen will host a hunter safety and deer hunt event, followed by a raffle, dinner and games for children. The event will take place at Collins Career Technical Center. There is no cost for the event. For more information, visit www.specialneedsyouth.org.
