Horse show takes place before fair: Event was in Ironton at the Horseman’s Associations Arena

The 2019 Lawrence County 4-H Horse Show was held at the Lawrence County Horseman’s Association Arena in Ironton on Friday to kick off the 2019 Lawrence County Fair Season.
Jazmine Hammond, of the Lucky Renegades 4-H Club, was the Overall Western High Point and the Overall Contest High Point. Alexis Best, Lawrence County 4-H Horsemen Club, was the Overall Beginner Western High Point.
Class winners included: Western Showmanship – Paige Best, Lawrence County 4-H Horsemen; Beginner Western Showmanship – Alexis Best, Lawrence County 4-H Horsemen; Beginner English Showmanship – Addison Best, Lawrence County 4-H Horsemen; Western Horsemanship – Jazmine Hammond, Lucky Renegades 4-H Club,; Beginner Western Pleasure – Addison Myers, Lucky Renegades 4-H Club; Western Pleasure – Jazmine Hammond, Lucky Renegades 4-H Club; Ranch Horse – Olivia Bowman, Lucky Renegades 4-H Club; Beginner Horsemanship – Alexis Best, Lawrence County 4-H Horsemen; Poles – Jazmine Hammond, Lucky Renegades 4-H Club; Stakes – Hayden Bowman, Lucky Renegades 4-H Club; Barrels – Emma Whitt, Lucky Renegades 4-H Club; Beginner Barrels – Liam Carey, Lucky Renegades 4-H Club; and Beginner Poles – Addison Myers, Lucky Renegades 4-H Club.
