Road situation causing drain issues
Published 10:07 am Tuesday, July 9, 2019
A few months ago the township graded the road in front of my house.
This is where Township Road 1405 joins Township Road 1407. In doing so they left a “dam” of gravel across my drive way.
Now, every time it rains, the water backs up behind the gravel and won’t drain off.
Therefore, when I go in or out I have to drive through a huge mud puddle.
Besides getting my wheels muddy, the mud tracks into my garage.
I have tried unsuccessful for weeks to get in touch with one of the trustees but to no avail.
This is the second time since I have lived here that this has happened.
The first time my husband was still living and he took care of it, but he is gone now.
I am a senior citizen, and semi handicapped and can not do this kind of work. The water lays there for days until it evaporates. With every rain storm, it gets worse. I’m hoping with this letter I will get some help.
Thank You.
