The Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Run for the Roses Derby Day party at the Armory Smokehouse on Saturday, giving attendees a chance to watch the race live on TV as they dined. Attendees enjoyed a silent auction, a best derby-themed hat or tie contest and live music. Proceeds from the event will go toward education for small businesses in Lawrence County.
