PINE GROVE — Double your pleasure, double your fun, with the Ladies Nine Hole Golf League.
Double winners highlighted last week’s Tuesday outing of the ladies group who plays at the Ironton Country Club.
The day’s activities began with a brief business meeting. Hostess Wanda Spears announced the events and presented the winners during lunch.
And Spears announced Margaret Donley and Joyce Lewis with two wins each. Shirley Gleim picked up the other events’ win.
The group’s business meetings are usually at 9:30 a.m., but due to the warming summer temperatures the group will now meet at 9 a.m. with golfing to follow at 9:30 or 10.
Next week’s hostess will be Joyce Lewis.
The Ringer Tournament is underway for members to post. Also, the handicap tournament will continue throughout the summer.
Anyone interested in joining the Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association is welcome and women do not have to be members of the Ironton County Club to be part of the group.
