SOUTH POINT — People are invited to enter their canines into a dog show, which will be part of a pet-themed event at the STEM+M Early College High School.

Paws for STEM will take place Saturday, March 10 from noon-4 p.m. at the school, located at 702 Solida Rd. in South Point.

For a $5 entry fee, dogs can compete in the show in the categories of best trick, best costume and owner/pet look-alike.

In addition to the dog show, there will be pet health checks, an adoption event, healthy pet treats, dog therapy information, a hot dog decorating contest and refreshments.

The event is free and open to the public.
