Poison Apples Roller Derby, Huntington’s flat-track roller derby team, are hosting an information session and recruitment night at Roll-A-Rama, 137 7th Avenue in Huntington, at 7 p.m. The event is open to anyone interested in learning more about roller derby, one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.

Senior Dinner
The Sybene-Chesapeake Senior Center will host their annual “Our Day” dinner. This event usually takes place at First Baptist Church in Proctorville, but will be held at the center’s Chesapeake location this month, due to weather. Entertainment begins at 10:45 a.m., followed by food served before noon.

Lawrence County York Rite will have its regular meeting at the Masonic Temple on the fourth floor. Refreshments are at 6 p.m. Work will be at 7 p.m.
