CANTON — Freshman quarterback Shane Hamm threw for 243 yards and four touchdowns as the Akron Archbishop Hoban Knights won their third straight Division II state championship with a 42-14 win over the Winton Woods Warriors on Thursday.
Hamm was 8-of-13 passing and ran nine times for 57 yards.
Hoban (14-1) racked up 365 total yards and scored 28 points in the second quarter to take a 42-14 halftime lead over the Warriors (13-2).
