Emma Harrison

April 24, 1949 — May 12, 2017

Emma Mary Harrison, 68, of Coal Grove, passed away Friday, May 12, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Omaha, Nebraska native was born April 24, 1949, a daughter of Rose Kudrna Holloway, of Stewartsville, Missouri, and the late Arthur Holloway.
She survived by her husband, James Harrison, whom she married June 14, 1987. Mrs. Harrison was a homemaker.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur “Frank” Holloway.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by her four children, Arthur Rockstead, of St. Joseph, Missouri, Charles (Katie) Rockstead, of Kansas City, Missouri, John (Carissa) Beck, of Omaha, Nebraska, and Ronald Harrison, of Coal Grove; two sisters, Rose (Richard) Barnes and Peggy Beck; and eight grandchildren, Zachery Rockstead, Madison Rockstead, Adrian Rockstead, Andrew Crawford Rockstead, Nicholas Beck, Jamison Beck, James Harrison and Benjamin Harrison.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with the Rev. Jim Kearns officiating.
