Virginia Stover
Jan. 2, 1937 — April 24, 2017
Virginia “Sis Brammer” Stover, 80 of South Point, died Monday, April 24, 2017, at King’s Daughters’ Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. She was born Jan. 2, 1937, in Lawrence County, a daughter of the late Jerry Brammer and Omagene Waldick Brammer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Brammer; and three brothers-in- law, Tex DeVore, Ron Domke and Whitey Curtis. Sis was formerly a cook at the Collins Career Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Hagley (Butch) Ray, of Kitts Hill; a son, Ed (Bassy) Hagley, of South Point; six sisters, Esther DeVore, of Grove City, Karlene Domke, Louise Clark, Wanda (Rick) Ray, Ethel Curtis and Barbara Brammer, all of South Point; one brother, David (Sue) Brammer, of South Point; four grandchildren, Michelle (Mike) Conley, Angie (Scott) Mathes, Brier Hagley and Bronson Hagley; and three great-grandchildren, Danielle Mathes, Jacob Mathes and Andrew Conley.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Dr. Scott Mann officiating. Burial will follow at Leatherwood Cemetery, Kitts Hill, OH. Clifton Adkins, 67, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Monday, April 24, 2017, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Adkins. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ridgelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Huntington, West Virginia. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Debra Ann Ketterman Saville, 60, of Ona, West Virginia, died Saturday, April 23, 2017, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Saville Family Cemetery, Ona, West Virginia. There will be no visitation.
