Dale Slone
Sept. 8, 1965 — April 14, 2017
Dale Ray Slone, 51, of Ironton, went to be with his Lord on Friday, April 14, 2017. He was born on Sept. 8, 1965, to Charles Slone and Doris Malone Slone Cremeans. Dale was raised by his mother and second father Gary L. Cremeans, who Dale loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Charles Slone; uncles, Everett Slone, Jim Slone, Ron Slone, Edward Malone, George Malone, Charles Thompson and Ronald Holston; aunt, Jean Malone; paternal grandparents, Paris and Bessie Hamilton Slone; and maternal grandparents, Pearlie and Eva Hysel Malone.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Travis Slone (Megan), of South Point, and Zack Slone and Sydney Slone, of Mingo Junction; brothers, Charles Dean Slone (Greg), of Ironton, Michael Slone (Vi), of Pedro, and Gary Allen Cremeans (Hope), of Ironton; sisters, Lisa Murphy (Ted) and Paula Slone, both of Ironton; nephews, Andrew Walker, Christopher Walker, Steven Walker and Gary “Pete” Cremeans; great-nephews, Jayson Walker, Hayden Walker and Zayden Walker; special cousins, Pat Thompson, Jeanna Slone and Lori Hollycross Morgan; and a special friend he considered another brother, Mike Skeens.
Dale loved his children, family, and friends. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, fisherman and hunter. He was loved by all who knew him and will greatly be missed by his parents, children, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends. He will be forever in our thoughts. The family would like to thank the second floor staff of Bellefonte Hospital who took such excellent care of Dale and special thank you to pastor Willard Blankenship, who became a dear friend to Dale during his extended illness.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 1 p.m. Wednesday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home, Ironton. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Edna Eskew
Edna O. Eskew, 92, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Saturday, April 15, 2017, at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, West Virginia.
There will be a private burial at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, West Virginia. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is in charge of arrangements.

Donzel Davis, Sr.
Donzel Ray Davis, Sr., 44, of Proctorville, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at home. There will be no services. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
