Angela Lewis
March 19, 1964 — April 8, 2017
Angela Dawn Lewis, 53, of Waterloo, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at her residence. The Ironton native was born March 19, 1964, a daughter to Don Lewis and the late Arlene Jones. Angela is survived by her other half, John Bamer, of Pedro.
Angela attended Rock Hill Schools. She went on to work as a nursing assistant at several nursing homes including Carriage Court and Jo-Linn’s. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her father and fiance, Angela is survived by three daughters, Cassaundra (Terrance) Depriest, of Ironton, Jessica (Mark) Stapleton, of Ironton, and Kristen (Brandon) Depriest, of Pedro; three sons, Matthew (Sherri Jordan) Depriest, of Pedro, Ty (Jessica Borders) Depriest, of Ironton, and Tyler Bamer, of Ironton; a sister, Shawna Lewis, of Waterloo; four brothers, Bill Lewis, Mike Lewis and Donald Lewis, all of Waterloo, and Dave Lewis, of Decatur; a mother-in-law, Barbara Gore; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mothers, Angela was preceded in death by A grandson, Nicholas Matthew Depriest; and a sister-in-law, Beth Lewis. A service will be scheduled by the family at a later date.

Judith Myers
Oct. 1, 1945 — April 7, 2017
Judith “Judy” Gail Myers, 71, of Kitts Hill, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. Mrs. Myers was born Oct. 1, 1945, in Ironton, a daughter to the late Tim and Ruby (Fletcher) Pauley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, C. Kenny “Radio” Myers, who passed away March 16, 2013.
Mrs. Myers was a graduate of Coal Grove High School. She was a retired registration clerk for Lawrence County General Hospital. She was a member of the Ironton Garden Club and attended Campbell Chapel Church and Central Christian Church, and was active in her church. She loved to shop, was a social butterfly, but her main priority and her greatest love was for her family.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son, Paul Lovely; brother, Robert Pauley; and sister, Carolyn Fuller.
She is survived by son, Mark Lovely, of Delaware, Ohio; grandson, Joshua Paul Lovely, of Hillard; granddaughter, Callie Hylton, of Morehead, Kentucky, and Tori Myers, of Mischawaka, Indiana; stepdaughter, Maggie and Dennis Hylton, of Ashland, Kentucky; stepson, Kenneth Myers, of Chicago, Illinois; sister, Betty Dickess, of Ironton; nieces and nephews, Becki and Chuck Wheeler and Greg and Terri Dickess, all of Ironton, Michael Reed, of Ironton. Jeffrey Dickess, of Charleston, West Virginia, John and Karen Pauley of Tennessee, Tim Pauley, of Ironton, and Jeff and Diane Pauley and Kevin and Angie Pauley, of South Point; her beloved cat, “Booter;” and a multitude of great- nieces, nephews and friends who will mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be noon Thursday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with Chaplain Mark Lovely and the Rev. Bob Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be David Bach, Chuck Wheeler, Joshua Wheeler, Kenny Myers, Dennis Hylton and Jeff Dickess.

Glenn Jeter
March 12, 1947 — April 5, 2017
Glenn A. Jeter, 70, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.
He was born March 12, 1947, in Ironton, to the late Allen and Eileen McComis Jeter. In 1970, he married Susan Harlacher, who survives. Also surviving are his children, Amy (Noah) McNaughton, of Waverly, and Ryan (Kelly) Jeter, of Williamsport; two grandchildren, Ally and Taryn McNaughton; and a sister, Susan (Michael) Clark, of Toledo. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dana (Kelly) Jeter.
Glenn attended Ironton City Schools and graduated from Coal Grove Dawson-Bryant in 1965. During this time, he was active with the Boy Scouts of America, and attained the rank of Eagle Scout, as his father did.
He graduated from Ohio University in 1970, and received his master’s degree from West Virginia University in 1973. Glenn and Susan moved to Waverly in 1975, and Glenn retired from the VA Medical Center-Chillicothe after 28 years of employment. While at the VA, he served as an adjunct field faculty member for The Ohio State University and West Virginia University. He retired while serving as the Division Director, Mental Health Community Support Team.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home and Crematory, Chillicothe. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.

Mabel Jeter
April 1, 1922 — April 10, 2017
Mabel Marie Stewart Jeter, 95, of South Point, passed into a joyful eternity on April 10, 2017, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. She was the youngest daughter of Oliver and Sadie Stewart and was born on April 1, 1922, in Boyd County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Jeter; her parents; and her siblings, Charles, Wilbur, Ruby and Mary.
She is survived by her sister, Hazel Scott, of Raceland, Kentucky. Her legacy includes her children, Carole (Arthur) Broughton, of South Point, and Hal (Teresa) Jeter of Ashland, Kentucky. She adored her grandchildren, Mike (Amy) Broughton, Joe (Billee) Butcher, Gary (Tia) Broughton, Ginny (Josh) Brown, and Leslie (Rocky) Fannin; and her great-grandchildren, Robbie, Alaina, Jeffery, Shelby, Nateli-Jo, Ben, Gracie, Charleigh, Macie, Ella Mae, Madelyn, and a special thanks to Debbie Blankenship for her loving care and kindness.
Mabel spent her working years as a devoted school teacher, with many former students remembering her fondly even to present day. She was a member of the Lawrence County Retired Teachers Association, Ohio Retired Teachers Association, a 50+ year member of the Grange, and an active member of South Point First Church of God and truly reflected the image of Christ.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul McNurlin officiating. Vera B. “Tookie” Andrews, 62, of Barboursville, West Virginia, formerly of Phoenix, Arizona, died Friday, April 7, 2017, at home. There will be no services.
