Angela Clark

April 7, 1965 — March 29, 2017

Angela Dawn Clark, 51, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at her residence.
The Lawrence County native was born
April 7, 1965, a daughter of the late June and Ida Belle Butler Hamilton.
Angela attended Rock Hill High School and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Stevens; and a brother, George Hamburg.
She is survived by her lifelong companion, Gary Clark, of Ironton; two daughters, Sandra Compston, of Ironton, and Jennifer Carpenter, of Kitts Hill; a son, Gary Clark Jr.; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Brother Homer Ruggles officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery and visitation will be at noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Elizabeth Johnson

Aug. 12, 1945 — March 29, 2017

Elizabeth Johnson, 71, of Flatwoods, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March  29, 2017, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
The Little Rock, Arkansas, native was born Aug. 12, 1945, the daughter of the late Homer P. and Gladys Tompkins Conklin.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Steve Johnson, who passed away in October 2003.
Elizabeth was a 1963 graduate of Lyndon McKinley High School and a manager of McDonald’s, where she worked for 13 years and retired in 2009. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Wanda (Josh) Johnson, of Ironton, Tonya (Robert) Folks, of Spring Valley and Stephanie (William) Thomas, of Ironton; four sons, Jerry Thomas and William Thomas, both of Flatwoods, Kentucky, Stephen (Mickie) Thomas, of Ironton, and Jason (Katy) Thomas, of Ashland, Kentucky; 15 grandchildren, Hazel, Randy, Jimmy, Hunter, Gavin, April, Blake, Ariel, Ian, Paige, Landon, Braden, Jace, Addy and one on the way; and three great-grandchildren, Lacie, Leland, and Dakota.
Memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with the Rev. Jeff Cremeans officiating. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Christopher Stephen Ward

Christopher Stephen Ward, 25, of Proctorville, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2016. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rome Cemetery in Proctorville. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville assisted the family with arrangements.

Carolyn Boykin

Carolyn Kay (Howard) Boykin, 71, of Ironton, died Friday, March 31, 2017, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 409 Mulberry Street, Ironton, with Pastor Melvin Freeman officiating.
Burial will follow in Burlington 37 cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 S. Sixth St., Ironton.

Geraldine Clay

June 6, 1938 — March 31, 2017

Geraldine F. “Geri” Clay, 78, of Gahanna, went home to be with the Lord on March 31, 2017.
Born on June 6, 1938, to the late Ivan and Nellie (Clark) Watson. Geri was member of Brookside Baptist Church for over 34 years.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Charles C. Clay; and siblings, Ron Watson, Dillard Watson, Audrey Wallace and Pete Watson.
She is survived by children, Larry (Gay) Clay and Cathy (Bill) Green; grandchildren, Jason (Katie) Clay, Richard Green, Jessica (Greg) Stelmach, Rebecca (Evan) Miller; great grandchildren, Aubree Clay, Miles Clay, Reagan Stelmach, Makenzie Stelmach and Presley Miller; siblings, Avanelle Ferguson, Augustine Watson (her twin), Rick Watson and Bern Watson; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home in Pataskala on Monday, from 1-3 p.m. and
6-8 p.m.  Funeral service will be on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Brookside Baptist Church, 590 Lancaster Ave., Reynoldsburg, with Pastor Kenny Queeser officiating. Burial to follow at Mifflin Cemetery, in Gahanna.
