Dane McClellan
Feb. 15, 1950– Feb. 12, 2017
Dane F. McClellan, 66, of Ironton, Ohio passed away, Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center Ironton Campus. Dane was born Feb. 15, 1950 in Ironton, Ohio, a son to Betty Clay McClellan of Ironton, Ohio and the late Lawrence F. McClellan.
Dane was a 1968 graduate of Ironton High School and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a craps dealer for the Bellagio Casino in Las Vegas, retiring after 40 years of service. Dane had a big heart and truly enjoyed helping people. He was a wonderful son and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven McClellan and Larry McClellan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Craig (Martha) McClellan, of Holly Hill, Florida, and Terry (Deon) McClellan, of Ogden, Utah; one sister, Sharon (Chester) Wilson, of Wheelersburg, Ohio; and one niece, Judith Sherrick of Ironton, Ohio.

Harold “Bob” Collins
Oct. 25, 1944 — Feb. 18, 2017
Harold Lee “Bob” Collins, 72 of South Point, Ohio, formerly of Barboursville, West Virginia, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born Oct. 25, 1944 in Barboursville, a son of the late Harold and Eloise McCondy Collins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Trent Collins.
He was a veteran of the US Army, a retired lieutenant from Huntington Police Department after 30 years of service, a member of the Grand Lodge of West Virginia Crescent Lodge No. 32 A.F. & A.M., Ceredo, West Virginia, as well as a 32nd Scottish Rite Mason. Bob was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing and hunting. He was baptized Dec. 11, 1985 at Westmoreland Baptist Church by Pastor Steve Ross.
Bob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kimberly S. Johnson Collins; two children, Shelly Ann (Jerrod) Collins, of Salt Rock, West Virginia, and Joshua Aaron (Erin) Collins, of Kenova, West Virginia; his sister, Shirley (David) Willis, of Buffalo Junction, Virginia; a brother, Neal Joseph (Delores) Collins, of Huntington, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Cory Allen Hughes, Jesse Heath Bias and Jordan Heath Bias; a very special friend and confidant, Scott Brannen; many extended family members and his beloved sidekick, Jake.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, Ohio with Rev. Randy Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington. Cathy Mullins
Aug. 22, 1957—Feb. 17, 2017
Cathy June Mullins, 59, of Pedro, Ohio passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
The Lawrence County, Ohio native was born Aug. 22, 1957 a daughter of the late Grover C Wilson Jr. and Betty Sharp Sexton.
Cathy was a 1975 graduate of Rock Hill High School. She was a former real estate agent for Kouns Key Realty in Ironton and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Mullins.
She is survived by a son, Cody Mullins of Ironton, Ohio; granddaughter, Claire Mullins of Kitts Hill, Ohio; step-son, Jason Mullins of Ashland, Kentucky; step-granddaughter, Hannah Mullins of Ashland, Kentucky; sister, Nova Webb of Ironton, Ohio; brother, James David Sexton of Sciotoville, Ohio; and brother, Charles Edward Sexton of Pedro, Ohio. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South 7th Street, Ironton, Ohio with Pastor Jeff Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery. Dorothy Lancaster
Dec. 10, 1939 — Feb. 17, 2017
Dorothy E. Lancaster, 77, of Ironton, passed away Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
The Lawrence County, Ohio native was born Dec. 10, 1939 a daughter of the late Kaner Wright and Rozella Webb Malone.
Mrs. Lancaster attended Rock Hill Schools and was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith and formerly attended the Ironton City Mission Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jason W. Lancaster; her second husband, Ike Jenkins; a daughter, Pam Miller; a brother, Shelva Wright; and a sister, Opal Mae Wright.
She is survived by a son, Darrell (Trudy) Lancaster, of Ironton, Ohio; son, John R. Kitts of Ironton, Ohio; daughter, Lisa (Chris) Stone-Savitz of Lucasville, Ohio; son-in-law, Jerry Miller of Ironton, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jason (Alisha) Lancaster, of Ironton, Tonya (Earl) Wright, of Franklin Furnace, Dee Miller, of Franklin Furnace, Jerry Ray Miller, of Ironton, Eric Lancaster, of Ironton, Michelle Edwards, of Columbus, Krissey Boyd, of Portsmouth and Joshua Stone of Lucasville; eight great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 South 6th Street, Ironton, with Rev. James Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Leatherwood Cemetery.
