Numerous cases were heard in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday, involving drugs, community controlled sanctions (CCS) and more.

• Mickey R. Wilson II, 28, of 912 Center Street, Ironton, pleaded guilty to one fifth-degree count of possession of drugs and one count first-degree misdemeanor count of theft. Judge Richard Walton sentenced him to four years CCS with intensive supervised probation (ISP), and ordered him to complete STAR and 200 hours community service.

• Kimberly D. Terry, 34, of 610 25th St., Ashland, Kentuky, pleaded guilty to one fifth-degree count of possession of heroin and one fourth-degree misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Judge Walton sentenced her to four years CCS with ISP, and ordered her to complete STAR and 200 hours community service.

• Kristin M. Depriest, 30, of 307 Township Road 169, Pedro, pleaded not guilty to one fourth-degree count of complicity to trafficking in drugs and two fourth-degree counts of trafficking in drugs. Judge Walton set bond at $250,000 cash or surety and set pretrial for Jan. 4.

• Richard Gee, 54, of 1014 Ellison Street, Ironton, pleaded guilty to one fourth-degree count of trafficking in drugs. Walton released him on $50,000 OR bond and ordered him to complete STAR.

• Danny E. Henry, 57, of 16 Township Road 616, South Point, pleaded not guilty to one fourth-degree count of trafficking in drugs. Judge Walton set bond at $50,000 OR with GPS monitoring and set pretrial for Jan. 4.

• Patricia I. Layne, 32, of 2226 N. Seventh St., Ironton, pleaded not guilty to one third-degree and two fourth-degree counts of trafficking in drugs. Judge Walton set bond at $50,000 OR with GPS monitoring and set pretrial for Jan. 4.

• Nicole Legrand, 35, of 143 Davis Street, Huntington, West Virginia, admitted CCS violations. Judge Walton extended CCS one year until her fines are paid off and community service hours are complete.

• Jimmie R. O’Field, 57, of 701 Township Road 109, South Point, pleaded not guilty to one fourth-degree count of improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, one first-degree misdemeanor count of using weapons while intoxicated, one first-degree misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance, and one minor misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Judge Walton set bond at $10,000 OR plus the $2,500 bond from municipal court, and set pretrial for Jan. 25.

• Katrina R. Phelps, 54, of 4823 Crittenden Drive, Ashland, Kentucky, admitted CCS violations. Judge Walton sentenced her to seven months in prison.

• Samantha Garcia, 33, of 11287 County Road 1, Chesapeake, pleaded guilty to one fifth-degree count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Judge Charles Cooper sentenced her to six months in prison.

• David Marshall, 38, of 1495 Damron Branch Road, Grayson, Kentucky, pleaded guilty to one fourth-degree count of theft from a person of a protected class. Judge Cooper set sentencing for Jan. 4 and released him on a $25,000 OR bond until the sentencing date.

• Richard Ellis, 45, of 607 W. 12th St., Huntington, West Virginia, pleaded guilty to one fifth-degree count of theft from an elderly person. Judge Cooper sentenced him to six months in prison with credit for time served from Oct. 31.

• Barbara R. McCaffrey, 31, of 76 Township Road 1336, South Point, admitted CCS violations. Judge Cooper set sentencing for Dec. 28 and released her on a $25,000 OR bond until the sentencing date.

• Shelly I. Miller, 28, of 718 Mulberry Street, Ironton, denied CCS violations. Judge Cooper set trial for Dec. 28.

• Richard Smith, 62, listed as incarcerated, admitted CCS violations. Judge Cooper set sentencing for Jan. 18.

• Rita McFann, 21, of 1317 S. Ninth St., Ironton, pleaded not guilty to one fourth-degree count of theft of a motor vehicle. Judge Cooper set bond at $25,000 OR and set pretrial for Jan. 4.

• Anthony S. Workman, 39, of 48 Private Drive 286, Township Road 85E, Chesapeake, pleaded guilty to one second-degree count of burglary, one fourth-degree count of grand theft and one fifth-degree count of breaking and entering. Judge Cooper set sentencing for Dec. 28.
