Remembering a hero

It is no secret that the State of Ohio has been home to many who could be considered crown jewels for the United States of America.
But for many, John Glenn, who died last week at age 95, was the embodiment of what should be the considered at the top of the list through the life he lived.
Everyone is thought of for something, some good and some bad, but everyone is always remembered. For John Glenn, there were a myriad of positive things he did for his country and state. Whether it was serving his country in World War II, being the first American astronaut to orbit the earth or serving Ohio in the U.S. Senate for over two-decades.
Then, when most would take a step back and enjoy life, at age 77, Glenn saddled back in for one more flight.
There are many reasons to be proud to be from or live in the State of Ohio. And having someone like John Glenn who represented our state, our country and all of us as a resident is as good of a reason as any. He was a true hero to all.
