league to begin Dec. 3
The Ironton Instructional Basketball League for grades K-2 will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the high school gym.

Ironton Elks’ Hoop Shoot
contest set for Dec. 11
The annual Ironton Elks Lodge No. 177 will conduct its annual youth “Hoop Shoot” basketball foul shooting contest at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, in the Ironton High School Conley Center.
Age divisions for boys and girls are 8-9, 10-11 and 12-13. Registration will be held prior to the contest.

Redsfest tickets on sale
for Dec. 2-3 Reds’ event
CINCINNATI — FOX Sports Ohio Redsfest presented by PNC Bank will be held at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Downtown Cincinnati on Friday, Dec. 2, from 3 to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Two-day tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for kids 12 and younger. One-day tickets are $17 for adults and $7 for kids. Children three and under are admitted free.
