6th Street bridge shut down Thursday

The Robert C. Byrd bridge from Chesapeake into Huntington was closed Thursday afternoon for a law enforcement matter.
Huntington Police and emergency responders were on the scene.
Cabell County 911 dispatch said an incident closed the bridge at about 9:45 a.m. and it reopened at about 12:24 p.m.
Travelers were advised to take alternate routes, such as the U.S. 52 Bridge or the Proctorville Bridge.
