WILLOW WOOD — Now that’s the way to celebrate.
The Symmes Valley Lady Vikings celebrated Senior Night with a straight sets win over the South Gallia Lady Rebels, 25-17, 25-16 and 25-19.
Symmes Valley’s three seniors made contributions to the winning effort.
Sierra Ross had 10 points including four aces, 19 assists and eight digs. Mikayla Herrell had eight points with two aces while Hannah Newcomb had five digs.
Kinley Patterson had nine points with two aces and seven assists while Taylor Webb racked up nine kills and Kaitlyn Crabtree eight kills.
Symmes Valley visits Portsmouth Clay on Thursday in the regular season finale and hosts Corning Miller on Monday at 6 p.m. in the Division IV sectional tournament.
