William Russell

Dec. 9, 1985 — Aug. 27, 2016

William R. “Billy” Russell, III, 30, of Somerset, passed from this life on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016.

Billy was born on Dec. 9, 1985, in England, the son of William R., Jr. and Deborah Sue McDowell Russell. He worked as a production fabricator for Play Mart, Incorporated, of Somerset. He had formerly worked as a Journeyman for Central Kentucky Sprinkler Incorporated, out of Nicholasville. Billy was a shooting enthusiast, and he loved to go turkey hunting. He enjoyed music, skateboarding, BMX bike riding and “riding the trails.”

He is survived by his parents; his sister, Jamie (and Thomas) Stevens, of Tateville; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his niece, Ashley Stevens; his nephew, Brandon Stevens; and his special friend, Samantha “Sam” Suttles, of Somerset.

Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday in Southern Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jim Cremeans officiating. Burial will be in Southern Oaks Cemetery.

Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Charles Waller

Oct. 18, 1949 — Aug. 28, 2016

Charles Franklin Waller, 66, of Ironton, died on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2016, at King’s Daughter’s Medical Center. He was born Oct. 18, 1949, the son of the late Wyburn and Rose Malone Waller. He was the husband of Diane Carmon Waller.

He retired from Gallaher Printing, he was a member of Lawrence County Bow Hunters Association and he was of Baptist faith. He was preceded by two brothers, Earl and Calvin Waller. Survivors, including his wife, are his son, Charles Hunter (Chuckie) Waller; and four sisters, Erma Morgan, Martie McGraw, Christy Wilson and Sharon Grimes .

Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home. A committal service will be announced later.

Robin Burnette

Robin Lynne Burnette, 50, of Proctorville, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

George Nicely, of Chesapeake, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at home. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.

Daniel Myers

Daniel Bruce Myers, 75, of Barboursville, West Virginia, died Monday, Aug. 29, 2016, at Chateau Grove Senior Living, Barboursville. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville.
