If the money the commissioners are sending out of the county to house prisoners has not reached a million dollars, it soon will. How stupid can our commissioners be when the Franklin Furnace facility is under lease and our county is paying for the utilities?

The failure of the commissioners to act must be another political boondoggle. Since they don’t care about saving money, which taxpayers do they think will pass a levy to build a new jail while still spending hundreds of thousands more to house prisoners during construction?
