Denise Wade

Denise Mae Wade, 60 of Wheelersburg, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at the King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. The Ironton native was born Dec. 27, 1955, the daughter of the late Meredith Eugene and Joyce Frazer Rowe. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael B. Wade, who passed away July 18, 2015.

Denise was a graduate of Ironton High School and a homemaker. She attended the Jeffersonville Missionary Baptist Church in Coal Grove and was a dedicated and loving housewife that enjoyed attending church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, M.E. Rowe.

She is survived by three brothers, Michael E. (Barb) Rowe, of Dongola, Illinois, Randy (Tami) Rowe, and Bo (Tammy) Rowe, all of Ironton; a sister, Patty L. (Jeff Lewis) Lawless, of Ironton; two sisters-in-law, Anita Conley, of Portsmouth, and Terri L. Rowe, of Ironton; and nieces and nephews, Taylor Johnson, Angie Bright, Michael Rowe, Kimberly Rowe, Bryan Rowe, Bron Rowe, Bethany Rowe, Danielle Garrison, Megan Lawless, Morgan Medinger and Heath Conley.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with pastor Darrel Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery and visitation will be Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Dianna Maynard

June 27, 1958 — July 10, 2016

Dianna Maynard, 58, of Pedro, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016, at her residence. The Lawrence County native was born June 27, 1958, a daughter of the late Fredrick and Katherine Marie (Adkins) Skaggs.

Mrs. Maynard attended Ironton City Schools and was a homemaker. Dianna was also a member of the Ironton City Mission Church. She was a great and wonderful mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family and never forgotten.

She is survived by a son, Franklin (Jackie) Hall, of Pedro; three daughters, Amy Waugh (Joshua Davidson), of Pedro, Amanda Maynard (Jason Shope), of Franklin Furnace, and Jenny Hall (Wilburn Hunt), of Greenup, Kentucky; a husband, Larry Blagg, of Pedro; six granddaughters, Erica Hall, Donna Hall, Madison Shope, Mary Shope and Ellie Montgomery, all of Pedro, and Chasity Hall, of Ironton; four grandsons, Isaac Hall, Austin Lewis, Brandon Collins, all of Pedro, and Braxton Blagg, of Ironton; a great-granddaughter, Sophie Gee, of Ironton; and she also had six siblings.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Blagg officiating. Burial will follow in Hecla Cemetery and viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. To offer condolences to the family, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.

 

Yolanda Bleigh

Yolanda Cheryl Bleigh, 55, of Crown City, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She is survived by her husband, Carl Edward Bleigh. Dennis Ray Harden, 60, of Proctorville, died Thursday, July 14, 2016, at home. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Harden. William “Bill” Franklin Stapleton, 66, of Ironton, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at his residence.
