Suspect facing felony charge
An Ironton man is now facing felony charges following his arrest in connection with a break-in earlier this month.
Bryan Willis, 33, of 2517 S. 10th St., was arrested by Ironton Police at the corner of Third and Vine streets at approximately 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
He is charged with felony breaking and entering, following the break-in at the CBPC computer store in the 801 Pleasant St. on June 25. He also has an outstanding felony warrant.
“This has been a high priority case,” Ironton detective Joe Ross said. “He allegedly took a brick and broke a window and allegedly grabbed some laptops and ran back out.”
Along with Willis, Jeleesa Stewart, 26, of the same address, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear.
At the residence, police found allegedly stolen items and are currently trying to find the owners.
“This came about with the cooperation of the public and the computer store owners, “Ross said.
The two will appear before Ironton Municipal Judge O. Clark Collins on Thursday.
