World-renowned Elvis tribute artist Dwight Icenhower will be rocking the Ro-Na Theater from 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 27, and tickets are still available.
Raised in Pomeroy, Icenhower began his Elvis career at 16 years old singing karaoke at a local fair. He is now one of only a handful of artists to make a full-time career out of it, performing four to five shows a week including all over the U.S. and throughout the world, touring in England, Brazil, Mexico and Japan.
Throughout his career, Icenhower has won more than 30 awards and has shared the stage with some of Elvis’ personal friends, including DJ Fontana, the Jordanaires, the Sweet Inspirations, Cynthia Pepper, Julie Parrish, Charlie Hodge and Joe Esposito.
Friends of Ironton president Rick Jansen said this is one of the bigger productions that the group has taken on one that is on the level of quality the group would like to continue to feature.
Ticket prices for the show range from $18-28
