Lack of a quorum canceled Thursday’s regular meeting of the Lawrence County Commission.
Commission president Les Boggs was the only member there.
On the agenda were the following:
• Possibly rehiring Bill Click as dog warden starting on Monday. Click retired in January after working 27 years as warden;
• Awarding bids for material for county garage;
• Receiving correspondence concerning the settlement of the civil lawsuit by Larry Kinstler against the county; Kinstler was the jail inmate who was the focus of a federal criminal court action against three corrections officers for allegedly violating his civil rights;
• Approving the resignation of job and family services worker, Kristi Spears;
• Approving a contract between job and family services and common pleas court.
